By now it has become abundantly clear that despite the protestations of a local blogger that he is the "unbought voice of the community," he has become in effect the Hernandez vote-harvesting cybermegaphone ready the moment a post drops to do his masters' bidding.
No one is buying the claims that Robert Wightman is laboring day and night because of some feigned altruism. The facts on the table are just too many to ignore.
Virtually anyone who is deemed a threat to the interests of the Hernandezes becomes fair game to this disgruntled blogger who revels in besmirching reputations, causes, and relishes in distorting the truth to achieve his ends.
Let's take a look-see at his masters' "enemies":
Alex Dominguez: Wightman says that Alex Dominguez is an enemy of the disabled because the blogger somehow interpreted Dominguez being against the Hernandez's politiqueros hauling in people who are obviously disabled in vans and at times even voting for them in plain sight. This happened at Cristo Rey and at other locations and at least one retired federal agent witnessed it and complained to the local daily. That Wightman, a self-proclaimed hero of Special Needs kids now rails and raves against Dominguez for complaining of the abuse by the Hernandezes in harvesting these votes is ludicrous and self-serving. And, oh yes, Dominguez is running against Ernie Hernandez for Cameron County Pct. 2 commissioner.
Mary Helen Flores and Citizens Against Voter Abuse (CAVA): Somehow or another, after praising Flores and CAVA, Wightman used the same brush he used against Dominguez to belittle Flores for protesting and reporting the harvesting of elderly and infirm voters who at times have been visibly disabled when they are hauled by vans rented by the Hernandezes and driven by their politiqueras to vote at the polls. There, the pliant polling place judges hand out the required number of ballots and the politiqueros "assist" them in filling out the ballots. Inside, the vans are filled with sample ballots indicating who they are suppose to vote for. In the last go round guess which Hernandez was on the ballot: how about Erin Garcia Hernandez?
There is more.
Wightman apparently was upset that Flores has been on friendly terms with the publisher of this blog and berated her for being his friend. IN fact, the incident at the Raul Salazar trial where he claims Flores "went ballistic" on him and that he had to flee her wrath was a fabrication. None other than the Herald's Mark Reagan was present at all times during this encounter which Wightman himself initiated. He never told his readers that he had congratulated Flores and CAVA on compiling the statistical and comprehensive evidence that showed convincingly that the Hernandezes and their stooges had stolen the election. And he neglected to say that he even offered Flores money for CAVA which she discreetly turned down. If anything, her turning his Trojan Horse offering down resulted in his reacting as a woman scorned. What he wrote was an outright lie because the writer of this blog was in the same corridor when the meeting took place and the bailiff was inside the courtroom and was never involved in the encounter.
Now, who has the most to lose if the state and federal government puts a stop to the abuses that Flores and CAVA have documented? You guessed it, Enrie and Erin Hernandez.
Zeke Silva: Wightman has had a curious relationship with now-DA's Office Public Information Officer Melissa Zamora. That began when he defended her stance over a post in the disappeared blog owned by Capt. Bob Sanchez over state testing instruments that discriminated against South Texas minority students. Comments made against Wightman by an unknown commenter resulted in a frivolous lawsuit that never went to court but through the machinations of this vexatious disbarred lawyer resulted in a nuisance settlement from several insurance companies. The companies had already spent the better part of $200,000 to counter Wightman's litigation (all of which he lost, by the way). They didn't want to spend more money on his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court which would have probably doubled their costs. So after two years, they gave him $60,000 and had him go away. Yet, that didn't stop him from claiming that the nuisance money he was given meant that he had been vindicated in his defamation claims. That is a lie.
Silva helped Luis Saenz get elected District Attorney and Saenz made him Community Outreach Officer. This vexed Zamora to no end who claimed in private confidential memos and emails to friends that the workplace was unbearable and that she was considering checking out early to the Great Beyond. She also complained about metal stresses on her family and on her children because of Bad Old Zeke. No one but her and a couple of DA investigators knew of the confidential memos and no one but Mary Helen Flores and Zamora knew of the emails. Then, a certain Robert Wightman made an information request to the DA PIO (Mellie, of course), and she had to comply, she claims, because she had started a file. So if only the DA's investigators knew of the memos, and only she and Flores knew of the sympathetic emails against Zeke, how did Wightman find out what to ask for? Mellie, of course.
Now, this is the guy who calls Zamora's boss "vindictive dick," "beyond stupid." abusive," a "quack," "a corrupt public official," etc.
Add that to the fact that Zeke filed a police report against Norma Hernandez and her politiqueras after he came upon them trying to herd his father into a van so he could vote for their candidates during the 2012 primary runoff election just as they were doing other elderly at a day car, and you can see why Wightman has made him a target for his cyberbullying. Wightman has distorted this an as act of aggression by Silva against Norma much as he distorted his discussion with Mary Helen in the courthouse corridor as an attack on poor little old Bobby.
Oh, how does this affect the Hernandezes? Zeke is helping Dominguez unseat Ernie Hernandez in the Democratic Primary in March and Flores is trying to stop voter fraud that will keep the Hernandezes in office.
Yolanda and Alex Begum: After Yolanda Begum won the Democratic primary in 2012, the Hernandezes unleashed their politiqueras and herded in masses of elderly, infirm, illiterate and disabled to the polls with premarked sample ballots and promises of chicken BBQ plates. Yolanda did not take it lying down. She and CAVA assembled a group of workers and volunteers and turned up evidence of a massive voting-fraud scheme perpetrated by the Hernandez vote-harvesting machine to steal that election. That evidence is now in the hands of the joint state and federal voting-fraud task force that has the Hernadezes and their politiqueros squarely in their sights. A peripheral figure in the squalor is none other than Josefina Canales, who was married at one time to Yolanda's stepson Michael and who was seeking "assistance" from her former mother-in-law during the election. When she was turned down, she cried foul and went over to the Hernandez camp. Alex Begum is representing his mother in the litigation, so that puts him squarely in the sights of legal malingerer Wightman.
Why is Yolanda Begum a threat to the Hernandezes? Because she is running against Erin – Ernie's daughter and current JP 2-2 – in the March Democratic Party primary.
Luis Sorola and Mary Esther Garcia: Sorola, a local attorney, committed the unforgivable affront of representing his client in a divorce against Ernie Hernandez Jr. Hernandez was represented by none other than Erin Garcia Hernandez, his sister. In the course of the proceedings, Erin wanted the court to order the couple's property to be declared community property and split down the middle. However, Sorola had acquired receipts showing that the bride had bought the furniture, car, etc., before the couple had married. He even had receipts that showed that the bride's mother had paid for the couple's Las Vegas wedding. Boy, was Erin mad! She railed within earshot of many courthouse employees that she would get Sorola and his little woman Mary Esther, who just happened to be a candidate for the new JP 2-3 court. When one of Sorola's clients feared that the issuance of an illegal waiver to the 72-hour waiting period by Erin's JP court could endanger their immigration application for residency for the groom since it might be deemed fraudulent, Sorola filed a lawsuit in federal court. When the county – including Erin herself – provided his clients with a letter clearing the couple of any wrongdoing, Sorola dropped the lawsuit. However, in the course of investigating the issuance of the illegal waivers, it was discovered that Erin had issued at least 13 such fraudulent documents and the evidence was requested by the DA. Since then, Sorola and his fiancee have been a target of Mad Dog Wightman for making Erin look bad. The danger to the Hernandezes? Sorola's research in representing his client uncovered the illegal waiver scam. A grand jury might not like it.
DA Luis Saenz: Wightman used to have the run of the DA's Office before he was shut out after he couldn't have his way and his entreaties were turned down. This triggered yet another episode of the Scorned Woman Syndrome and now Saenz is a sworn enemy of all that is decent and holy in Wightman's interpretation. Saenz took up the illegal hiring of Roberto Cadriel – Ernie's brother-in-law and his wife Norma's brother – after the former DA Armando Villalobos sat on it for months. The DA got a conviction of Raul Salazar, Ernie's administrative assistant, but during that trial, prosecutors told Visiting Judge Fred Hinojosa that Hernandez was under investigation for the same case. Ernie then pleaded the Fifth Amendment and refused to testify. Saenz's office has just gotten a conviction of Norma's cousin, Aroldo Cadriel for murdering a young woman and dumping her body on the side of a road in rural Combes. Cadriel calls the prosecution "unconstitutional" on the part of "vindictive dick" Saenz. Saenz also requested an opinion from the Texas Attorney General to determine whether to proceed against Erin Garcia Hernandez for selling waivers to the 72-hour state-mandated waiting period between the issuance of a marriage license and the ceremony. Depending on the TAGO opinion, a grand jury could be convened to address the issue. Saenz's danger to the Hernandezes interests? If he chooses to present evidence against Ernie and Erin to a grand jury and indictments are issued, it could mean possible convictions and the end of their holding public office for good.
Yours Truly: For writing the truths above. Be prepared to see my mug shot (ad tedium) on his blog. It has become so predictable as to be comical. Sic 'em Babosa!
