From MySATwo Donna ISD school board members are facing federal charges of bribery and attempted extortion in connection with a contract for services.
Federal authorities unsealed the four-count indictment today, charging Eloy Infante, 53, and Elpidio Yanez, Jr., 45, both board members, with bribery, conspiracy and attempted extortion. A third man, Adrian Guerrero, 50, also was charged. He was described in court documents as a “middleman” in the alleged scheme.

In May, Donna ISD superintendent Jesus Rene Reyna was formally charged with one count of obstruction and one count of bribery for allegedly threatening to fire two district police investigators who were probing allegations of insurance theft and fraud by Reyna and his family against the district.

Corrupt school district officials are far more prevalent than corrupt lawyers. The Donna School District has been overwhelmed by corruption and the losers are the taxpayers. The losers, the people. Again, the corrupt officials take solace in the fact that the public is ignorant and not likely to see the problems, and even less likely to take action.
In order for BISD to be next you need a "whistle blower" and you are not going to find that in BISD because EVERYONE is on the take and nobody has clean hands. The low level employees that know will not speak up because they know they will not be protected and they need their job. In Donna, the "middle man" gave them up.
They should check every BISD BOARD MEMBERS

Bribes from what insurance companies ? Why not name them ? And their agents--and the "consultants". Why do journalist's shield them, and not name the bribors, as they do the bribee's?
Do the bottom feeding, scum sucking, immoral lawyers protect these big companies?
I find it interesting that the FBI has set up shop down here to deal with public corruption. This is because local police, prosecutors and judges won't do it. Our entire system is tainted with corruption. I guess it is a Mexican thang!

I sure hope the FBI Cracks down on BISD Board Members, and key dept. Administration. Such as Insurance, Purchasing, HR, Food Service, Transportation and Maint/Facilities. Oh, and the outside vendors they are all wheeling and dealing with.

They don't mention Reyna was no billed by the Grand Jury. The Insurance Fraud was that he had his kids on his family medical insurance and they were covered till the age of 26. Little did the arresting cop know that that was in his contract that was approved by the School Board members.
