A BRIEF GLIMPSE BACKWARD AT 80TH CHARRO DAYS FIESTA



(Ed.'s Note: All good things, the saying goes, must come to an end. And so it was with the 80th Charro Days fiesta in Brownsville. For the past week, the town has come together and celebrated the unique culture and heritage of this border town and its people. If you missed it, here's a brief glimpse back at some of the scenes that unfolded in the downtown are down Elizabeth Street.

Where was the Border Patrol?!!! They coulda rounded up thousands of Mexicans!!! Dang it.

It's getting worse, the parade sucks big time, political parade just one good band, the Mexican college band, charro days is dying and it's a waste of time.
