PUB CRAWL: CAN YOU GUESS WHERE THIS PAINTING IS AT?

(Ed.'s Note: At first glance it looks like a manufactured painting simply pasted on a wall. But if you look carefully, you can see that the deck of cards is painted on nine separate squares and stretches out across all nine. We have asked the current owners who painted this, but have received no answer since the original proprietors are no longer around. In terms of depth and perspective, it an outstanding work of art. Does anyone know? And can you guess where it's located?)

Your headline has a dangling participle. Your use of "at" is superfluous and incorrect. Too many these days seem to want to employ the word at the end of their sentences. Those writing for public consumption should probably keep this in mind.

My guess is that it hangs in the Vatos Room at your favorite 14th Street cantina.

What wall has 9 sections that would fit this fine painting?
Has anyone actually seen it in Brownsville? Let's go find it.

Who is Norma Linda Castellano?

Is this the Castellano that thinks she taught at La Porter?
If it is, she would not know anything about a dangling participle.
She was the worst teacher I had at La Porter. Puro wow, wow!
