A READER SHARES A NICE PHOTO OF RESACA, WATER FOWL

(Ed.'s Note: We often get sent photos by our seven readers which show the unique character of our city. In this case, one of our readers caught a gem of a photo which he graciously shared with us through our email. It catches ducks in flight against a background of the Town Resaca by the Old City Cemetery. The large whit birds in the water in the distance seem to be a species of pelicans, we think. Thanks for sharing.)

The Muscovy ducks are an invasive species imho. If you try to feed the Mallards or shy brown ducks with orange beaks and what will happen? -- the ugly half black half white Muscovy ducks bully the other birds away and the males try to hoard all the food instead of letting smaller female ducks have their share. Much like our American society today. If Trump builds that wall maybe we can throw these ducks over it. They can barely pick their fat ass tail-feathers off the ground so we wont have to worry about them coming back and overpopulating our resacas. :D
