EARLY VOTING TOTALS BARELY 2,113 IN FIVE DAYS

(Ed.'s Note: With the low voter turnout in the City of Brownsville elections, the adage that every vote will count has never been more true. Now is your chance to make a real difference in your local elections. The Central Public Library polling site led the voting with 1,430 in the first five days. Early voting ends Tuesday. Election Day is Saturday, May 6.)

Low turnout is not new to Brownsville, but in this election it is important to defeat incumbent city commissioners who continue to support Tony Martinez and his efforts to spend the city to death and let infrastructure deteriorate further. It is time for this city administration to put the people first, create jobs, attract business......and have a transparent city government.
Tony Martinez has led us down a destructive path and Brownsville is stumbling along while other cities in the area thrive and grow.

Only issue that matters is: How much will Culo cost me if I vote for you?

And then we wonder why our city is in the condition it is. No one gives a darn about it and it is shown in our voting patterns. We have lost all faith in our elected officials. I flipped a coin when trying to decide whom to vote for this time. De todos no se hace uno.

Attitudes like yours are why the city does not progress. VOTE! Vote out the incumbent deadweight.

We need new blood, new ideas, new leadership.
VOTE FOR CASTRO, GARZA, NEECE!!!
