I "Second" this letter by Ms. Flores. She is right, "The Turd" took the job with the pipeline company so that he could avoid his constituents and "play with the big boys". The Lucios...Senator Jr. and his son "The Turd", are taking money from special interests and yet he will explain it to his constituents in such a way that they won't know what he is saying.

Search these files CAVA.....

many more found on google. Rep. Lucio funds projects in Legislature and then gets contract to provide legal services for said project. No conflict of interest here, right? We should demand he pay the public back for all the tax payer $$$ spent on "legal services" that shouldn't have been paid in the first place.

@6:54 pm & @10:28 am.... I hope your wearing kneepads.

You want to bring jobs to Brownsville, I get it. LNG's fell on your lap and now you want to hold them close to you and not let go; regardless if it will cause harm to anyone.

Don't be lazy..... You want to bring jobs here, let me tell you ONE way to do it...

1)Go onto the NASDAQ or NYSE search on all companies doing good and that export their product onto international markets(Look for growth for the past years, good financials etc...)

2)Now that you found those, narrow down your search to companies that are expanding their manufacturing operations(focus on non-polluting industries i.e. high tech etc.)

3)Once you find those, search what kind of skills are needed in those manufacturing plants.

4)Contact TSC, TSTC or UTRGV and let them know what skills are needed

5)Start negotiations with local, county and state...

This can be done in reverse too, look for foreign companies that exporting to the US and that might save money by bringing their manufacturing to the US.

Let's start being proactive and bring opportunities to everyone in Brownsville. That lazy "let's see what falls on my lap" attitude needs to stop now!!

Mary Helen Flores wants a “no conflict of interest” pledge from Rep. Lucio hahahahahahaha

That letter is stupid. How does Mary Helen think she can get those commitments?

PENDEJA.

This Lucio fucker needs to disclose what money he accepted from the pipeline. An elected representative of the people, while he also helped a private corporation steal land from people he allegedly was elected to represent, using the intimidation of his office to persuade them to give up their land. Notice how they had to meet at his office to petition to keep their own land! Imagine that, having to go before your own State Representative, to argue why he shouldn't give your family's land to a pipeline conglomerate, meanwhile he was taking money from the pipeline all along to do just that!

This goes beyond conflict of interest to abuse of office. The amount of money changing hands needs to be disclosed in the public interest. Since he clearly lacks the decency or integrity to disclose it voluntarily, perhaps a FOIA, or suit should be filed.

Lets not lose focus on the real issue of needing to expose this rata so all can see what trash they've elected time after time.

I recommend that we start a kick-starter campaign to fund a full page ad in the Brownsville Herald that lists all of our concerns regarding his conflicts of interest and retainers that he receives for services that pose an abuse of power. Lets see how he responds to the public and what excuses he gives for "making a living."

Come on ElRRunRRun, set up a kick starter page so we can expose this rata.
