WHO WAS DRIVING JUDGE ELIA CORNEJO-LOPEZ'S SUV?

By Juan Montoya
Things are getting a mite tangled after officers of the Brownsville Police Dept. impounded a Mercedes-Benz SUV registered to a district judge after it allegedly was involved in an accident this past weekend and the driver abandoned it without leaving any contact documentation.

There red SUV vehicle reportedly is registered to 404th District Judge Elia Cornejo-Lopez who is saying that it was her son who was driving it without her authorization and left it on the northbound frontage road between Boca Chica and Price Road after the mishap.

It was impounded by the P.D. where a VIN check indicated that the vehicle was registered to the district judge. We are making inquiries on accident reports and will inform our seven readers as details become available.

You mean to tell me that HER CHILDREN are actually trouble-makers?
How dare you say that Juan. Her children are not involved in anything that is not right. Everyone else is to blame for their mistakes. Those children remind me of the affluenza kid that caused so much trouble because he was not taught that he was just a normal kid. Let's see if her kid gets off just like Joey, Aurora's kid got off.

Good day Brownsville Texas. Please note that Rene Oliveira is no longer fit to Represent us in Austin. He is a homewrecker. He has done nothing for Brownsville. We the people keep Brownsville going. The Texas Monitor reported about his purchases at many establishments . It is so wrong he drinks so much with women when that campaign money could go to feed the needy. He degrades women, he is a horrible example for young men and especially children. He has a problem staring at body parts of mens wife and mens girlfriends. His stare is creepy. Vote for his opponent in the Spring of 2018. Rene Oliveira is out of control. He needs to grow up

What son she has a daughter

So is her son being arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle? Or is she just claiming that because she is too pinche to put him on the insurance (like the rest of us)?

Juan, why was you interested in this? Judge Cornejo is a good judge.

Elia will throw her own son in the fire to save her own ass! Shame on you Elia Cornejo Lopez. people saw you leaving the scene and being picked up by a short fat lady that looked like a dude in a brown SUV.

Get serious, bro. News. Go get real news!

Plump Partridge, Dino Lino, Homewrecker, Paramour, Flat Frog. That is enough embarassment for the people he represents. Change State Rep in Spring 2018

Let's see if the judge gets "special treatment" from the local judicial system and the police. Will the judge's son be held accountable as would my son or daughter. Judge Cornhole-Lopez is likely to exert her judicial power, get lawyers to support her as a way to gain favor in her court, and the police are likely to be afraid of Elia. Will we see this in the Herald....not likely.

Elia Cornhole-Lopez will use her position, her influence and her friends to allow her son (or whoever in her family) to get a "Get out of jail free" card on this incident. Rene Oliviera got a freebee when he rear ended a car on the frontage road near 802. Aurora de la Garza's son Joey got a "Get out of jail free" card from the Cameron County judicial system, the Sheriff's office and her legal friends, when he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from a local hospice. The trend in Cameron County is to allow family members of local officials to not receive the same judicial treatment that the rest of us and our families might receive for the same incident.

We can surely expect Judge Elia Cornejo-Lopez to use the full force of her fat body to defend her child and can be expected to go to her friends to protect her son from accepting responsibility for his actions. Elia judges the public based on the law, but she expects the system to protect her kid.

What has happened to my previous contribution? Censored by the Judge?

Wasn't the judge at Toucan's and Southwinds?? She does frequent those establishments!!

Judge or no Judge Elected Officials and/or non Elected Officials should be treated equally. This piece of lard deserves to get her punishment including her son and/or daughter. This Judge is always claiming to be a victim and literally pushes her weight around the community. She is worthless and has used her position to abuse BISD and every Entity that allows her to get away with it. Ya BASTA delen su medicina para que se eduque!! Like they say only in Brownsville Elected Officials get away. She reported Able Limas and yet she doesn't look at her own Abuse of Power.... Que le den padentro y que pague por el crimen.

You're a "toothless" hack, dude! Nothing ever comes of your shitty lying reporting!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will never know. It will never make it into the news and it will never make it to court. Special privileges for "special" people. The Judge believes she and all of her friends are above the law and in this case we can bet on no action.

If there is not a black man around, you must blame it on the kid.

It shows the kind of judgement by the vegicle owner who lent the car. Is this the judgement we expect inside the court? We have seen another judge mistake words resulting in errors in sentencing. Must be BISD education quality in full display again.

ok, so who was really driving? the judge or her son? mmm thats the Million dollar question? Guess we will never really know the TRUTH. Of course not-the Brownsville hearaldo rivera will not print this either, we all know that, so what waste your time or breath on that. So like 12.22 says the judge was picked up by a woman that looked like a dude in a brown suv? WOW, now a days got to be careful, calling a she a he or a he a she, man its a mad mad world out here, and the band keeps marching on, adios.

If so many people are aware of all the shit that goes on behind closed doors for the elected officials, why do we not flush them down the toilet where they belong. Don't blame BISD for Cornejo's education; both she and her sister were never good students. How she got her
law degree is beyond me and probably from one of the those degree-mills on line. She hates BISD because they won't bend over for her and her chiflada kid. Just like Joey de la Garza and others who have circumvented the law.

To the "In God We Trust" commenter : There's no difference between yourself and "anonymous " so drop your attitude . Work on your writing and vocabulary and maybe you'll be taken seriously .
