DESPITE ITS MYSTERIOUS REMOVAL, VIEW ANTI-KKK VIDEO

(Ed.'s Note: We were hoping to send you this clip of the Feb.20 meeting where the removal of the Jefferson Davis Monument  (The Stone in Washington Park) was discussed. The plans are now to remove it to the Brownsville Historical Museum with an explanation of its origins and how it came to be placed in the city. The presenters before the commission outlined how the Daughters of the Confederacy lobbied throughout the country for the confederacy "heritage" to be celebrated by local residents even though the pro-KKK books they promoted were filled with racist and inflammatory anti-minority (Blacks and Mexican) rhetoric.

However, after we got the Youtube clip available on the web, it was mysteriously removed from public access.
The presentation did take place and can be viewed in the video of the meeting. We have acquired the services of a tech to get the snippet of the meeting. The presentation can be seen on the link below.

as long as they gather together to celebrate division - they are dividing themselves from society.... Dogs, Negroes and Mexicans make up the society, and they, well they are segregated from society by will.

I would make a motion to relocate the Stone into their white trash trailer park - that way the won't have to leave the park and everyones happy.

Why does it matter? He's not the only person who doesnt like the rock. The common theme for the 'diminishers' out there is that he's the only person who cares about this, but the documentation provided clearly proves otherwise.

Place the rock at veterans park where the homeless live, the dogs shit (all over the park), where bikers, skate boarders, hover users have setup shop. Excellent place for the rock.

I saw a bunch of people riding bikes inside the veterans park and the library security just stared. There's a sign right in front of the entrance to the park in front of the library where the security guard was standing. The sign states that no bikes, skateboards are not allowed inside the park (in big red letters). That security guard was just sucking away on a lollipop. Thanks parks director, he/she was at the coffee shop on 7th and Park Café.

The Veterans Park smell dog shit big time. The pet owners are suppose to pick up their pet's crap but they don't. It's the Park's Director responsibility to maintain ALL parks in the city but it's not being done. Corruption and incompetence rules the city. We need BIG CHANGES NOW.

There were three homeless sleeping on the benches at Veterans Park. There were also several persons with dogs and the dogs crapping all over the place, not to mention peeing. The owners just simply walked away. This needs to stop. The park smells like a shithole and looks like a shanty-town. Is Ivan back? Where is Lopez? The director needs to be called in or replaced!
