This is what downtown Brownsville is all about, a stupid mayor and commissioners court out of tune with the true needs of the Brownsville of Brownsville. Blame this current state of decade on the votes of Brownsville for letting these idiots run Brownsville into the dirt.

1:27 you are correct! That is the root of the problem in Brownsville politics that permeates throughout our city. Mayors / commissioners come and go and the same INDIFFERENCE is always present . Its always about advancing their and their friends personal agendas. Downtown has been a ghost town until recently when our fearless leaders discovered the goldmine the old buildings are and how they can be refurbished/ remodeled very cheaply ( through BCIC GBIC). But only the elite and well connected can be players in this game. So now that a couple of broken windows and break-ins affect them, its a crisis. ( right ZEKE ?) . Puro show!!! And now that downtown has a couple “hoighty - toighty “ establishments , they are crying foul. What next ? Fence up downtown and have a cover charge?? LOL. What a joke , making a mountain out of a molehill.

The camera system is run by the police department. The police is too busy taking pictures at McDonald's and movie theater for Facebook. If there is any opportunity for "chief" Chapo Sauceda to pose for a picture, he's there. What a waste of tax payer money, not the camera's, the police "chief".

THIS BUILDING IS AROUND THE CORNER FROM CITY HALL. IT IS ALSO ACROSS THE STREET FROM FORMER MAYOR TREY MENDEZ. WHERE IS FELIX SAUCEDA? THE MAYOR AND COMMISSION LITERALLY PARK ADJACENT TO THIS BUILDING.
DOWNTOWN BROWNSVILLE IS KNOWN FOR HOMOS, HOBOS, HOMELESS, HOOKERS, AND HOOLIGANS.

QUESTION; Doesn't BPD have the legal authority to arrest and deport these inddividuals, especially if they are committing a crime? Breaking and entering as well as trespassing is a crime!!!
