It is not true. Wait for the work to continue and everything approved when they come with paperwork from the past where they had all the permits and signatures. That is how the corruption takes place here in the Rio Grande Valley. Right now, people feel happy.....in a couple of months you will hear that projects are on schedule.

Unfortunately 5:39 is correct. Too much money has been spent and to much money to be made for them to abandon/halt project. Just a bump on the road for these guys. The permits will magically appear, all will be in order” wink wink” and business as usual. Similar thing happened at Space X and now Musk owns ALL. of Boca Chica beach!! So celebrate now but the reality of it is that these giant corporations and billionaires always get their way. Sad but true

LOL - they will just reappear and be reinstated, legally. Its funny when one is ignorant of the process they immediately default to "corruption"

Harlingen airport. A years-long federal revenue stream is pouring $3.8 million to close Valley International Airport’s new $32 million runway billed as the longest landing strip south of Austin. Y Brownsville. Get rid of those Pedro cardenas and Cowen appointments.

I don't think the issue was that they don't have permits. It's that the permit process was faulty. The permitting agency failed to consider relevant data and failed to give some data the appropriate weight. I believe they are required by the court to reconsider the permits this time including the previously excluded information. They were not told they could not issue permits only that they must factor in all the data.
I think they just used data that would support the decision they intended to reach so don't worry, they are probably already getting input from the gas companies about how to justify once again issuing the permits.

The truth is: people do not protect nature, the earth, the habitat of animals....they just want to make money.... so permit or no permit, what matters is the right amount of money that will exchange hands to start the dangerous projects that will kill nature. Later, people will ask...what was wrong with people in the past? they were not aware that they were destroying our planet? ....we know better...the greed of humans destroys the planet....
