WILL SPACEX LAND TRANSFER IGNITE LAND-GRANT DISPUTE?

By Dee Dee Garcia Blase
www.Tucson Citizen.com
I recently wrote about a concern Texas members of the Cisneros family had with regard to oSpaceX possibly building on land that is privately owned. Since then I have learned the Cisneros family is having the 1789 Title translated and legal help is currently being sought out.
The Space X and Texas family land concern covered only approximately 90,000 acres of land, but it appears this issue involves more land that extends to at least 4 other Texas Counties.
More importantly, there is precedence reminiscent of the Balli vs. Kerlin court case. (New York Times, Aug. 3, 2000).

According to the New York Times:
Jury Finds Texas Family Was Defrauded on Oil – New York Times
By ROSS E. MILLOY
Published: August 03, 2000
A Texas jury has found that a New York lawyer defrauded several hundred relatives of a 19th-century priest more than six decades ago and now owes them millions of dollars in oil royalties and interest, according to a decision announced today in Brownsville.
FULL STORY HERE>>>

Since evidence has surfaced regarding the titles to back up the Cisneros claims of ownership and mineral rights to the land, David Ruiz, a member of the Cisneros family, appears to be on the right path with regard to contacting a historian in Washington D.C. The historian has pointed them to the steps that need to be taken with regard to the official documents, since monies are in escrow and are intact at the state and federal level.
If and when the Title shows that indeed the Cisneros family owns land covering at least 4 Texas counties, it would not surprise me to hear of that family winning a key multi-million dollar lawsuit resulting in unpaid mineral royalties, interest and lawyers’ fees, plus an unnamed amount in damages for fraud, and so forth. This developing story is no longer about the 90,000 acres affecting the Space X project in Texas – this involves more land that extends in numerous Texas counties since evidence has surfaced regarding the titles to back up claims of land ownership.
If I were the Brownsville Mayor Tony Martinez and Cameron County Judge Carlos Cascos, I would ensure the protection of land owner rights with regard to the Cisneros family. It is my understanding a reporter from Channel 23 Grande Valley News showed Cascos the Spanish Title and other official documents affecting the privately owned land – and I’m afraid Texas Governor Rick Perry (endorsed by the corrupt Sheriff Joe Arpaio), Mayor Martinez, and Mr. Cascos may have stirred a big hornet’s nest.
More will be developing as we are following this case closely and since this issue may involve the Adams-Onis Treaty.
The initial purpose of the Adams-Onis Treaty had much to do with stopping raids of the Native Americans and/or the indigenous.
According to the Library of Congress, “The Adams-OnĂs Treaty was negotiated in response to Andrew Jackson’s incursion into Florida to stop the raids of the Seminole Indians on U.S. settlements along the border. Signed on February 22, 1819, and ratified by the United States in 1821, the treaty granted to the United States Florida and former Spanish territory west of the Sabine River, along a new boundary line north of Texas, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and California.”
The Adams-Onis Treaty isn’t the only treaty we have our eyes on ….we want to ensure the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo is maintained, followed and respected, too.
According to the Library of U.S. Congress, The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo" was signed by the United States and Mexico on February 2, 1848, ending the Mexican War and extending the boundaries of the United States by over 525,000 square miles.
In addition to establishing the Rio Grande as the border between the two countries, the territory acquired by the U.S. included what will become the states of Texas, California, Nevada, Utah, most of New Mexico and Arizona, and parts of Colorado and Wyoming. In exchange Mexico received fifteen million dollars in compensation for the territory and the U.S. agreed to assume claims from private citizens of these areas against the Mexican government.”

These guys had no intention of a launch site here. It's all about grabbing land for development. These guys have the money to wipe most people out. Thank the mayor and the bspaguy for these 'investors' coming to Brownsville to save us from ourselves.

I've always wondered why anyone would sell title insurance in Brownsville. Read THE NEWS FROM BROWNSVILLE, especially the notes at the end to find out about Richard King's machinations with land title's down here, and the suicide of his Ft. Brown Army paymaster, Quartermaster Chapman.

How could it have been suicide? It's very difficult to slit your own throat.

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven!
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth./ and again/ Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal. But store for yourselves treasures in Heaven! And my favorite: Row Row Row your boat gently down the stream Merrily merrily merrily merrily Life is but a Dream! Where is your soul now amigo?
