(Brownsville, Texas) Accion America today called on the Brownsville Citizens to call for the renewed removal of BISD Board Member Rick Zayas and Ruben Cortez who filed a Slander and Defamation suit against Accion America and Carlos Quintanilla.
Not satisfied with the decision and selection of Senior District Judge Villareal, they now seek to have him recused and have started the process of Judge Shopping, hoping that it will be assigned to a favorable and political judge.
Judge Leonel Alejandro recused himself.
Accion America has requested a meeting with District Attorney Armando Villalobos to initiate an investigation to determine if any Judge Shopping is taking place by Rick Zayas and Ruben Cortez and their attorneys.
Accion America and Carlos Quintanilla filed a counter suit to remove both Rick Zayas and Ruben Cortez for malfeasance, failure to Disclose Potential Criminal Wrongdoing and Conflict of Interest in Awarding the $40 million Health Insurance Contract . The case has been set for trial in September.

Come on, why did you not finish off your statement about Zayas and Cortez. They are so what? That is what is wrong with those guys. They think they are above the law and that everybody bows to them. One is a lawyer and the other hangs on to the other's coattails. They seem to already know what each one will bring up at the meeting and how each is going to vote. All they have to do is get to Aguilar and Colunga and their wish is their command. De los cuatro no se hace uno! I cannot wait for a real court date where we can all witness their fall from their throne - toilet! I just hope that Quintanilla beats the crap out of both of them.
