Still convalescing from his near-fatal run-in with a large van, the publisher of the now-defunct El Rocinante is nursing a couple of broken ribs and some badly scraped limbs as he takes again to his PC to enlighten the masses.
Dr. G.F. McHale-Scully is launching a new literary effort aptly called the Brownsville Literary Review. Now, for those who think this is some kind of highbrow effort, well, that's the intent, according to Jerry.
"I want to uplift the coverage a little bit," he said recently. "I'm still going to cover the waterfront, but I want to write my own stuff. As they say, if the world explodes tomorrow, will anybody remember Shakespeare?"
We four readers of El Roci will probably notice a difference in his new endeavor, notably, the New Yorker-like approach to the postings. But, as usual, we know he will not disappoint.
