LOCAL FBI RIDES NOW LOADED FOR BEAR

By Juan Montoya
Don't be surprised if, while cruising around Browntown, you see an armoured Toyota Land Cruiser on your tail.
In fact, our sources tell us that there are at least eight of those bad bears in the hands of the local FBI office in Brownsville after having been diverted from their original Saudi Arabia destination for use by those sheiks in the oil-rich kingdom.
Apparently, workers at a local Toyota dealer got the word that they would be receiving these Land Cruisers (at $80,000 to $120,000) a pop post haste as the violence across the river escalated and more and more the feds felt it necessary to protect its personnel amidst threats of a violent spillover into the U.S.
"they have fully armored chassis, glass, and even the tires will take a bullet and keep on going," said a worker who saw the ultimate armored vehicles when they arrived at the dealer. "They still had the decal of Saudi Arabia on them when we got them."
We don't know whether the vehicles were armored by Kruger Armor oer someone else, but in its web site, that company states that after they get done with a regular Land Cruiser it will have these capabilities:
*Protection against high power rifles such as 7.62 x 39, 5.56 x 45, 7.62 x 51, M193 & M80 ball
*All original glass is removed and replaced with NIJ tested Multi-layered ballistic glass
*Opaque area surrounding passenger sides are replaced with ballistic steel/composite
*Roof (60° angle) and floor (anti-mine protection including DM51 grenade/fragmentation)
*Additional areas of armoring are fuel tank (i.e., explosafe tank), battery & computer module
*Patented designed armoring for firewall and wheel wells
*A complete set of four (4) high quality grade run flats installed
*Additional protection for the floor and the radiator
*Overlap areas are separately protected
*Power Windows (2) front windows
*Rear door (Optional)

There is no question that given the Zeta-Cartel controlled south bank of the Rio Grande, any protection our people can have is welcome. But still, questions linger.
Given the economic state of our car manufacturers, why didn't the government purchase American-built cars for its agents? Would it be too much to ask that American dollars be spent to help out our economy? Or was the rush to equip our local G-Men of such urgency that Homeland Security intercepted the vehicles and diverted them to South Texas?
Knowing the FBI and DHS, we probaly will never get answers to those questions.
Meanwhile, if you spot one of this honeys in your rear-view mirror, I'd do the wise thing and move over to let them pass. Wouldn't you?

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little
bit, but other than that, this is magnificent blog. An excellent read.
I'll certainly be back.
