Below is a sampling of the vitriol unleashed when local internet commenters learned of the news.)

Wow, it is very apparent that someone did not tell the truth to the board. He was listed as certified to teach. Sounds like someone messed up BIG!!!

How many other hirings in BISD have been based on nepotism??? We will never know. Charlie Atkinson is a DICK....and now he is "teaching". We can expect a flock of DICKs from Faulk. A reminder, Eddie Lucio was a PE instructor at Faulk before running for office. Will Charlie seek to follow the path of Eddie Sucio. Both have very small footprints...and you know what that means.
Don't worry folks! This problem is just temporary! Does anybody think he will ever pass his excet exam for certification? I think not!
