You've heard of the political saying "vote early and vote often," referring, of course, to political shenanigans often pulled in South Texas.
Well, our friend Enrique Barroso (nicknamed Toques) has taken it to a brand new level. You can often see his truck barreling along the streets of Brownsville plastered with political ads (and others as well).
Well, maybe "barreling" isn't exactly the right verb here. It's more like sluggishly making his way through traffic at a snail's pace. Toques is getting along in years and after a few mishaps on the stairways of the judicial wing at the Cameron County courthouse has pretty much limited himself to parking in the handicapped parking space in the parking lot.
Somebody needs to tell him that two of the candidates on his truck (Arturo McDonald and Carlos Cascos) already won their races (2010) and that one, Tony Torres, is dead.
Now, some cynics may say that the dead rise in Cameron County come election time, but why would anyone vote for a dead candidate? Old habits dies hard, perhaps, but it could be that Enrique has continued collecting for his services from someone. Or could it be that he just hasn't realized that the 2010 elections are over and that his friend Tony is no longer around?

Are you kidding. This is all you have to write about in your Blog??? Triste........
WHY IS ERNIE, ERIN, AND NORMA SO WORRIED ABOUT WHERE MS. YOLANDA BEGUM SPENDS HER MONEY?
YES! THERE WILL BE MORE TELEVISION ADDS, MORE BIG BILLBOARDS, AND MORE BROWNSVILLE HERALD ADDS, IS HER MONEY.
AT LEAST SHE CONTRIBUTES TO THE BROWNSVILLE ECONOMY BY SPENDING HER OWN MONEY AND PROVIDING MORE JOBS.
UNLIKE THE CADRIEL AND ALL THE OTHER RELATIVES THAT ERNIE GETS JOBS FOR, WITHOUT PASSING A RIGHTFUL TEST.
ERNIE, NORMA AND ERIN DO NOT BE HATERS JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE LEECHING FROM THE COUNTY COW.
IS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL STILL INVESTIGATING ABOUT THOSE RELATIVES BEING HIRED AND/OR THE VENDING MACHINES CONFLICT OF INTEREST?
