AN UNKIND CUT FOR LOPEZ ON SIGN NEAR COURTHOUSE

Perhaps one of the quirkiest defacing of a political sign is the prank pulled on the political signs of Justice of the Peace 2-2 candidate Raul Lopez, who's running as a Republican.

Now, we have known Raul over the years and would swear under oath that the born-again Christian has absolutely nothing in common with mass murderers Osama Bin Laden or Adolph Hitler.

Osama was responsible for the Twin Towers massacre where some 3,000 innocent victims perished when they collapsed after being struck by two jet-fuel laden airliners.

Hitler, well, who doesn't know that he was responsible for killing millions before and during WWII?

It's difficult to tell what the intent of the prankster was to associate these monsters with Raul, but well, how do you explain insanity?

Joseph Kony is one of the world's worst war criminals, and many are calling for world leaders to support the international efforts now led by the United Nations and African Union to arrest him and his top commanders and bring his child-soldiers army home.

The "Stop Kony" movement was launched to make indicted Ugandan war criminal and International Court fugitive globally known in order to have him arrested by December 2012, the time when the campaign expires.

Now, we don't know where Lopez stands on Kony, but if the defacing of his campaign sign encourages people to join the protest against the war criminal, perhaps it has already served its purpose. No doubt Lopez will have someone go out to the spot across the street from Ernesto Gamez's law office and remove the offending artwork improvisation.
