Friends and supporters of three candidates for the July 31 runoff are invited to attend a get together Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at 224 Palo Verde hosted by Norma Sorola.
The three candidates are Yolanda Begum, in the runoff for Justice of the Peace 2-2, Luis Saenz, in the runoff for Cameron County District Attorney, and Pete Avila, in the runoff for Constable, Pct. 2.
Ms. Sorola invites her friends and supporters of the three candidates for an afternoon of fellowship. The three candidates will be given the opportunity to address the participants and you'll get the chance to meet them one-on-one. Come find out where the candidates stand on the issues.
