broke back? the fish looks perfectly fine.... no broken back :), but meat is not white, since its over sized, meat is red and when its red, its no good. (it doesnt taste the same)

Rey, where are you finding broken backs? I've looked for them but can only find diving ones.

Biggest inshore fish I have ever caught was a Snook in the Ship Channel and yes I caught on a Black Broken-Back topwater lure. When a big snook hits a topwater lure it sounds like a firecracker going off, it's one of the most exciting fishing experiances you can have.
