By Juan Montoya
Things have come to a pretty pickle when even a Great horned Owl doesn't faze a flock of brazen pigeons who seem unfazed by its presence meant to keep them and those pesky sparrow friends of theirs from clambering on the rooftop and doing all kids of nasty things there.
The same thing, by the way, is happening to the image of the fearsome owls placed at the Cameron County Courthouse and on some billboards near the UTB-TSC campus on International Blvd.
Rodney Dangerfield would know how the Great Owl feels, we're sure, to have all these feathered intruders prance around it at will.
Or, as we've been told, to paraphrase another great comic, Henny Youngman, "Take my perch, please!"

You are wrongly paraphrasing the wrong comedian. It was not Rodney Dangerfield, it was Henny Youngman.
Christian
You are reading it wrong genius...the last sentence states it was Youngman
