MEXICO CITY - Mexico's state-owned oil company Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, has found a second significant crude-oil deposit in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, President Felipe Calderon said Friday.
With the new "Supremo" deposit, Pemex expects to book new oil reserves of up to 125 million barrels, using the broadest measurement of proven, probable and possible, or 3P, reserves, Mr. Calderon said at a press conference.
The Supremo exploratory well is 250 kilometers east of the Gulf port of Matamoros on the border with the U.S. and 40 kilometers south of Mexico's maritime border with the U.S., Mr. Calderon said.
The well was drilled in 2,900 meters of water and is 1,100 meters below the sea floor, making it one of the deepest wells ever drilled in the Gulf of Mexico, the Mexican president added.
The discovery follows one of light crude unveiled in late August in the Perdido area of the Gulf, from which Pemex expects to add between 250 million and 400 million barrels of 3P crude reserves. That well was drilled in 2,500 meters of water.

Either you or the President of Mexico do not know what you are talking about, there thousands of wells that have been drilled in the Gulf that are deeper than 3608 feet.
Pemex, pendejos mexicanos God gave Mexico all the riches in the world, but its all stolen by the politicians, union leaders etc etc etc, lots of corruption just like in cameron county.
There is alot of oil in Mexico and yes Mexico IS VERY RICH, but unfortunally Mexico sells most of his oil to the Country of the United States, la tierra Mexicana es riquisima en petroleo, cosa que las tierras Americanas no se comparan con las de Mexico, aparte de que el Gobierno Mexicano controla todo el petroleo por derecho, lo mal baratan a los gringos y por eso Mexico nunca sale adelante Mexico y sigue en tanta pobresa. Lastima de tantas riquesas que tiene Mexico por naturalesa y no las han sabido aprovechar y hacer buen uso de ellas.

Para empezar tu tampoco sabes de lo que estas hablando pendejo, una por que tu no tienes en tus manos los planos de Ingenieria para saber las dimensiones de ancho ni de profundidad, esto PERTENECE AL GOBIERNO MEXICANO, y sinceramente no creo que ellos te vallan a dar informacion a ti esclusivamente, a si es de que bajate de tu avion y aqui no andes pendejeando a nadie x que tu eres igual o peor de menso, por favor utiliza tu logica antes de abrir tu cochina boca.
