The Brownsville Independent School District confirmed at their swearing-in meeting just minutes that Jose Hector Chirinos had been declared the winner in the Place 7 of the board over Linda Gill_Martinez who vowed to ask for a recount.
Gill_Martinez had led by four votes after the November 6 general election 14,709 to 14,705.
The district then moved to swear in winners Catarina Presas-Garcia, Otis Powers and Minerva Peña.
At the meeting, Powers sat proudly with politiqueros allied with the Ernie Hernandez vote-harvesting machine Joey De la Garza and Ralph Elizondo. Both men were documented to have been involved in the massive voting fraud that is alleged to have been perpetrated by that group in the July 31 runoff election which saw Erin Hernandez Garcia elected over Yolanda Begum for JP 2-2.
Until now, Powers had been circumspect in his alliance with the politiqueros who were helping him with the mail-in and walk-in votes.
Some BISD administrators say that the many irregularities that were associated with the recent election may force the district to have the county – which it paid $195,000 to run it – conduct a recount at the county's expense.
All the trustees sworn in will serve full four-year terms.

If I were Gill, I'd sue the pants off Roger Ortiz and his ineptness.
By the way, did you hear Caty tell Escobedo, "Work with me?" and Escobedo answered her with "don't wear my patience!" This is as she has just been sworn in to work together with the rest of the team, but if they don't work with her, she won't even hug them. She only extended her hand to Minerva and Otis while she hugged her comadres and patners in crime. And she says she is not a hypocrite. She needs to look up the word in the dictionary.
Otis, your burned yourself starting off by sitting with the "grave robber" who stole from those elderly people hoping for a death with dignity. He got away with it and should be hiding his tail in-between his legs and not showing up in public. No tiene vuerguenza, acabo Mami le limpia sus maldades. i knew that the election would one way or another be rigged or change at the last minute like they elction officials always do. Like they say its not over till the fat lady sings. Chirinos you are a cheater just like the rest of the election cast at the county court house. congradulations the cheaters and not the voters have spoken.

Apparently you do not understand the voters' desires? They elected who they elected and you just do not like it, so now you are all "Boo Hooing" about it. Triste!
It is not that we don't like it. It is that the election was a fraud! Also, plurality is not the majority so even if Cata only had one more vote, she would have won. Did you notice how many people voted against her? She should pay attention to that and get the you know what out of there. Se cree bien ch----!
