Just when you think that there is only one arrogant scofflaw on the Cameron County Commissioners Court in the person of Pct. 4 commissioner Dan Sanchez, one of his colleagues does something to disabuse us of that idea.
We all know that Sanchez has a penchant for grabbing a constable's parking space which is conveniently situated just across the street from the judiciary wing of the courthouse. That way the commish and his secretary don't have to put up with the mad dash to find a parking space during peak hours. Until recently, Sanchez had been known to park the entire day while he took care of his private legal business in the courts.
Well, now we have been shown that Sanchez is not the only one who enjoys the convenience of parking in a restricted space and his fellow commissioner David Garza (that's his Tahoe in the foreground) seems to also like the perks of his office.
The source who sent us this photo says Garza has taken to parking on the space designated as a fire lane behind the old Levi plant (Cameron County San Benito Annex). The cars parked in front of him are constables and instead of taking one of their spaces as Sanchez did in Brownsville, David opts to take the fire lane restricted parking.
You see, they tells us that the parking lot for the annex is a good walk away from where the commissioner's office is and rather than going thorough the inconvenience of walking, Garza parks there daily to avoid the long trip to the building.
It is said that not everyone is the same, and these two commissioners have shown us that as elected officials, they have the right to park where they well please and the rules don't apply to them like they do to the rest of us mere mortals.

The rules don't apply? I think Garza could really use the exercise if he parked where he should. Personally I think Garza should park a couple blocks away so he could work on his plans to screw the county while he is walking off some of that blubber.
Sanchez could also use a little (really a lot) of exercise. I suggest Sanchez park at the Dancy building in his parking slot and walk to the Courts building, its only 3 blocks.
Why do these officials think they don't have to abide by the law that they are sworn to protect. If there time is so valuable, then make legal arrangements.... If the local officials break the law, the local jandarms should not give tickets to the rest of us..."We the People..." While Sanchez is much larger than most other humans in Cameron County, he should make it a point of pride to be seen walking. If he were to walk a little he would be able to see his feet in about a decade. (Dan should go see the movie "Identity Theft"...that movie, like him is one big fat joke.)
Garza garza garza maybe we should look into a certain contract you hooked up
arrogant...
One never knows when it will be necessary to protect rights. That is why I created a directory of good US lawyers who always can help. While reading your articles I came to conclusion that you are a legal professional and can recommend best attorneys to this directory. You can submit lawyers to the section of Florida civil attorneys or other appropriate sections. There is also a possibility for lawyers to publish legal news and articles as well as posting to Attorney Blog. I think, it can be useful to many of your friends who provide legal services.
It's appears that all of the County Commissioners have turned into hogs feeding at the public trough! Oink, oink, oink, oink!!
David Garza has fooled the people of Cameron County for a long time. He has had his hand in the cookie jar and now can't get his fat hand out. He is a miserable fat fuck!
Go take a look behind San Benito City Hall...the spaces closest to the door are not those reserved for the handicapped but for the so-called civil servants at City Hall!
A friend told me about this, so I made a special trip by there one day just to get a look...sure enough, all of the spaces near the door are marked for city employees and elected officials! Next time I'll bring my camera!
