It's been months since we ran into local bail bondsman Fred Martinez. You know Fred, he has run for Justice of the Peace on more than one occasion, coming close but getting no cigar.

Meanwhile, we have learned that there have been some personnel changes in the constable's office with at least three (not including the secretary) members of the staff either transferring to another department (Park Rangers) and some being let go by the new administration.
We won't know how these changes will play out, but given this county's propensity for legal actions, we wouldn't be surprised if something wasn't filed in response to their implementation.
Meanwhile, Martinez, who was an unabashed supporter of Constable Gomez, is filling the secretarial role with some aplomb. The crowded office which can hardly hold three people in it at once has a large fishbowl of candy and a pot of coffee brewing in the corner. We didn't see Fred typing so that many be handled by others.
Come to think of it, he didn't invite us to a cup although we did take one of his candies.

Congratulations Mr. Montoya for showing us your professionalism and how highly educated you are (in a sarcastic way)!
You really needed to go visit an ophthalmologist to get those lenses fixed before visiting that office and making the following statement, "The crowded office which can hardly hold three people in it at once has a large fishbowl of candy and a pot of coffee brewing in the corner."
I've visited that office lately and to my knowledge there is no coffee pot in that office.
Let's say they have one...so why would Mr. Martinez go to the cafeteria to buy his cup of coffee? Wouldn't that be awkward?
Get the FACTS right Mr. Montoya!!! Or better yet, you can donate the Constable's office a coffee brewer. :-)
Fred Martinez is a great person, with a strong character though, but defends what he belief is right and won't put up with bull shit. Need more man like him in the court system and elsewhere.
Great friend if I am say so.
