Wouldn't you know it? An honest woman like our own City of Brownsville Commish Jessica Tetreau-Kalifa is doing her public duty and walking into City Hall when some "d*bag" confuses her for a working girl and puts the make on her.
According to our precocious miss, the suspect in the red car in the photo accosted her while he was passing by in his car (that red one in the picture) and allegedly invited her into his rolling parlor to see some of his sketches.
She says the perv perp hurled "insulting and derogatory comments" at her as she walked toward the doors of the old federal courthouse.
Cyberbod Sharon Guerrero tried to make light of it by saying "Was he willing to pay?"
George Treviño tried to allay our indignant miss and said the perp "probably read the Cheese's post on the mayor and the commissioners and he wanted to throw his two cents."
Not so, countered Jess: "No, no, he was being gross and wanted me to get n his car."

Can you imagine that someone would put the make on a decent woman like out commissioner in downtown Browntown in broad daylight (well, actually toward evening) and confuse her for a lady of the night? What's the world coming to, uh?
On the other hand, maybe it is like Guerrero suggested that at her ripening age Tetreau-Kalifa can still swing for the fences. As they say in the barrio: "El que tiene pegue, tiene pegue."
Or maybe it could be that the high-heel stilettos and the blue mini might have had something to do with it?

If I was the owner or driver of the car I would sue her for slander and defamation. What kind of stupid commissioner posts this comments on face book. When will Brownsville ever get descent representation? Wow she is one stupid vain person. I wonder if the guy offered to little money for her services and that is why she got offended??? He probably asked her if she had change for a 20 or asked her if she had her shots.
Me thinks a commissioner wants attention. She seems to believe she is a "special person".......but she is not. She is a public servant (or should be) and to post this incident on Facebook is consistent with a recent Univ. of Michigan study that says people like her are narcisstic and want to focus attention on themselves.

The above idiocy is probably a troll so I guess I'm rising to the bait but do you know how stupid you sound? If the other idiot in the car should sue her, what should she do to you? You just called her a stupid, vain whore. Of course, the best defense against slander is that it is true so good luck proving it up. By the way, I don't like her either but I don't have any reason to believe she is any stupider then most of our other politicians and I don't know and don't care if she is vain. I feel pretty much the same way as to her sexual activity.
Melissa Zamora was always posting on Facebook her stupid comments and her late night partying with men then posting those pictures only to be ridiculed by her constituents. Now Jessica is following her mentors foot steps except that Jessica has a husband and Melissa wants one. Both have kids and both love themselves and love even more when they tell them they are gorgeous and how great they look. The problem with that is they are public officials and everything they do will be criticized even how they dress is on the list of immediate criticism. Both give the impression of attention seekers and cry babies when people don't agree with their posts. Melissa was smart enough to shut her facebook page down but Jessica needs to learn from her mistakes but unfortunately she seems to always think she never does anything wrong.
If you look at the picture that Jessica took you also see the white vehicle next to it and that vehicle looks like the one the mayor Tony Drives. Is she saying that Tony was trying to pick her up? My neighbors and I went to a meeting to protest a rezoning and she got up to give us her card and said, "You live in my district and I am your commissioner. Please call me next time you have a concern." We keep calling her but she never answers and her voicemail box is always full so we cannot even leave her a message. She hasn't responded to any of our emails either. Has anyone had better luck with her? I understand she must be busy but why run for a position you cannot be effective at? This is so frustrating. It's sad to say but even though Atkinson overspent on the sport park, he was a million times more responsive with our neighborhood's concerns.
