One of the main founders of Hooked For Life passed away last night of cancer.
David Mendez, formerly of Gomez, Mendez and Saenz Architects and the main mover behind the kids fishing tournament was active in local community events and his firm handled many large projects, including the construction of the Veterans Memorial High School, among others.

Its a shame these damn politicians took advantage of this great man's funeral to campaign. El pendejo de Joe Rivera parked right in front of the church in the first handicapped spot with his huge sign in the back. Dan Sanchez was right next to him. Dolores Zarate and Martin Arambula weren't too far away. Campaigning at a funeral is PATHETIC. You all deserve to lose for not showing any respect to David and his family.Pendejos!
