You should have borrowed Mean Mister Brownsville alias picture of Rendon.
Congratulations to the TSC Board and good luck in the future. TSC is the real community college and the pride of Brownsville.
I know that the Board has the best interest of the students in mind, but, sadly, President Tercero has been learning on the job and has been struggling. At this point, TSC is operating at far below what the district taxpayers should be able to expect---academically. Employees are coming and going. UTB is not much better, but it is slightly more stable than TSC. I wish the Board the best in trying to get TSC up to speed.

What are you some dumb-ass? Was Julie Garzia all knowing, when she started her reign at UTB/TSC?
Currently,TSC is still waiting for controlling access to their budget which will be the turning point for a smoother and decisive management decisions. UTB is not stable, it will be no more. Employees come and go, At UTB many have faced a layoff with more to come. Julie saved herself a future position based on lies, manipulation, and her silly mascot soon to be extinct.
UTB is stable at this time. Nothing more will happen until the the next stage of the merger takes place. Some employees are receiving "retirement" letters and certainly some faculty are leaving for elsewhere. But classes are being taught, registration for the Fall is taking place, Fall classes are filling up.
Over at TSC, at least one Dean left, some faculty have left on aFriday, meaning no instructor on Monday, the buildings look like a ghost town. Go see for yourself. Walk through the buildings. Talk to the faculty who are there.
I am certainly not going to defend President Garcia. She was and is a failure and the Institute of the Americas is laughable. But President Tercero is a failure also. The Board made a mistake.
Adela is just awaiting to get her delicate paws on the budget. She has Beady Cobra eyes; observe carefully.
