VACATION SHOTS FROM THE DMZ IN KOREA

By Juan Montoya
Going on  vacation or there now?
Share some of your photos with El Rrun-Rrun for those unlucky souls who can't take the time or don't have the money to travel.
We've shared some pics from people who have traveled to Arizona and South Korea. We have been sent still more photos of the Demilitarized Zone separating South and North Korea. Starting at the top is the infamous Bridge of No Return which Koreans crossed at the end of the hot war after an agreement to cease hostilities was reached between both countries.
North and  South Koreans were given a choice of which side of the bridge they were going to stay, resulting in countless family separations and torn lives.
The Koreas remain in a state of war. As you have probably heard, North Korea's Great Leader Kim Jong-un is intent on developing an atomic weapon and his propaganda machine spews cliche-laden taunts at the "yellow running dogs of imperialism."
The second shot is at the border crossing at Panmunjeom, also known as the Joint Security Area or Truce Village. Incidents of violence by North Korean soldiers have happened occasionally and you have to sign a waiver at Camp Bonifas waiving responsibility in case something.
The third is a shot along the DMZ looking north through concertina wire at a lake and guard house against a backdrop of mountains in North Korea.
We can't say that North Korea looks like much of a garden spot, but we thank Maria for sending us these photos. Amazing.

I cannot afford to go on vacation like most of the political crooks and those who funnel money into their pockets through foundations and assorted united groups. So,I have traveled the world through the use of Google maps. I also have toured grand hotels all on the web. From the safety of my own home and in additions have saved tons of money. Stay-cation is alive and well for us lower middle class.

I was in Pyongyang in 1953. It's a great country to stay away from.
