February 27, 2015 — A total of 15 candidates have filed for positions on the ballot for Brownsville city commission. Of the 15, six are vying for the mayoral seat.
The city secretary’s office has five working days after the filing deadline to qualify the candidates. To date, seven of the candidates have fulfilled the requirements and are officially qualified.
Below is a full list of candidates, in no particular order, who have filed for a place on the ballot. The names with an asterisk have been qualified.
