(Ed.'s Note: The Cameron County Republican Club held a forum for city commission candidates this Saturday afternoon at the Central Public Library. The city will elect city commissioners for Districts 1,2 and for mayor and At-Large "A." Candidates were asked to state their various areas of concern which – invariably – concerned infrastructure, jobs and beautification. At-Large A candidate Cesar de Leon had prior commitments as did Michel Gonzalez and Roman Perez running for District 1. Two other forums are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.)

This is all a big waste of time. For decades, I have seen the same kinds of candidates who ultimately make a mess of city government. We have too many pochos who prefer to sell their votes for barbecues and beer. Forget about it! Don't vote!
heard ms Winifred marshall asked a question that should have not been asked and morgan graham let get away with the question. Mr. Eddie Pradon kept asking for the question not to be asked and wanted it detracted. what an embarrassment this was. morgan could have somebody else mc the forum .
wow what an embarrassment one of the club members asking an inappropriate question and the club president not even stopping this person. glad that the candidates did not respond.
nothing wrong with the question. it was asked some people did not understand til it was said. you never discriminate at people because of their condition.
It was learned at the forum that Mayor Martinez was indeed adopted. He had been smuggled to Brownsville via the Río Grand disguised as baby Moshe.
Interesting you are on a first name basis with only one of the people you "heard" do something? I heard Roman was too cowardly to go to the forum and that was why he refused to acknowledge the invitations. Everybody told him to go and he didn't. Now he sits on a keyboard trying to lie and claim the question was unfair. The question was regarding the "potential liability of having somebody who believes that homosexuals should not be employed by the public or even in the same building with him, and was trying to pressure people to fire them on the past."
You won't win Roman, anyway, and aren't even a real contender. But, you are still in the wrong. Very, very wrong. And even if the people you harass constantly who are the closest things to friends for you pity you, you are a liar and conman and fraud and not even successful at that.
You should stick to doctoring emails you send to bloggers to promote your lies about being a professor and lying on social media about being appointed to boards that don't exist by people who can't stand you and think you are crazy. Keep using the church to further your agenda, then walking out of services to damage more people because you envy the fact they were born women. It will be interesting seeing the karma train stops in the future for you, Roman Perez.

I though it was good that is wrong if he did that and if somebody was happy the candidates did not answer it because they don't think we are important to. think again! Bigots like mr Perez and the angry white people who don't think we deserve to know about us not being able to talk to this guy if he is our comissioner are the embarrassment hateful fake Christians
