Suddenly, Capt. Bob Sanchez and the rest of the mayoral candidates are looking better.
Did you hear about the hairy that former City of Brownsville mayor Pat Ahumada pulled on is most fervid supporters this morning?It seems that during this regularly scheduled morning's breakfast organizational meeting, their paladin for change in Browntown lit upon his supporters chiding them for not working hard enough as he wanted them to. He railed at length about their – to his way of thinking – tepid support.
About midway through Pat's diatribe (or pep talk?) his most enthusiastic fans and supporters got up and left the premise. Prominent among them were some local attorneys and elected officials.
Pat's lack of tact has often been cited as the reason for his failure to form a consensus when he was mayor. Now, before the May 9 election, Ahumada decided to pull the plug on their support.
Could it be that Pat knows that early more than 70 percent of the vote comes in during the early voting period and that the election has for all practical purpose been decided already?
But his may be a miscalculation because with six candidates running for mayor, a sliver of a difference in the balloting may make the difference between being in the runoff with Da Mayor Tony Martinez and not.Erasmo Castro's ruse that he had been threatened with death for running for mayor is one way to get attention the electorate, but alienating your core group of supporters is downright mad.
We understand that Capt. Bob had already been approached by some of the disaffected Ahumada fans and that they promised to deliver the votes to him that they had worked to give Ahumada.
Said one disaffected supporter: "What's the use of switching from Emperor Tony (Martinez) to Emperor Pat? The way he acts, who wants him there? Capt. Bob and the others are looking better all the time."

Robert Sanchez has been consistent in his adds, "We know what we get with Tony Martinez and we know what we will get with Pat Ahumada". Pat will not change...he will always be an asshole. He will say anything to get elected and then go back to his asshole ways. Anyone but Ahumada and Martinez. Captain Boob looks like a pretty good I hate to say.
Lol, without being there I know it's b.s. montoya. Gerardo is crying to Cesar or you because he is taking credit for things he has not done. He's been working more for de Leon and in turn Abe and Tony Tranzas by doing so. Saw him delivering plates from the BBQ for Cesar, saw you picking up plates and now since his feelings are hurt he's trying to throw some shade/mud. He hasn't done much for Pat and I can prove it. Vote Pat despite this little distraction.

I am not a political person, but I DID NOT VOTE for a free plate of shrimp or a pachanga at Los Camperos. Mr. Ahumada is not what I call a great choice but looking at the other choices, I had no other choice than to vote for him. I really dont think Mr. Sanchez is a good choice. If we think Martinez was a lousy mayor, Mr. Sanchez would top him at being the WORST. Ahumada has a temper? So does everyone else, just look at the bloggers fighting among themselves.
Gerardo Denache is a smart man Pat. He is a loyal soldier, but you did fuck it up, like always. You will not make the run-off. Sanchez was in anyways….but Denache's help is going to put us more over the top. He delivered Zepillin for you pendejo, and you fucked that up, Zepillin is still waiting for you to pay him….so is your brother, the one that you stole 400k for the arcade you got arrested for. Even your brother is voting for Sanchez. The people did not forget this time Pat. They know all about you. They do not want you. Period!
Just get Tony Martinez out of city government. Tony will cause lots of poor people to be more indebted and poorer.

Shoot Bob is crazier and more of a dick than the whole lot of them. He almost got into it with Omar during early voting. He was like a rabid dog because his wife was talking to Pat's son. Vote for Erasmo and not these 3 hot heads.

Pat is an asshole and will always be, he lost lots of votes since he had the Maquinitas, many people would leave after he was always crying for the food they where consuming and he would go, "all you just come to eat my food and don't spend" Pinche Pendejo.
Sad we have only Pat, as the alternative to Mr. Electricity, our high priced mayor.
I know one thing. Only a fool votes early. I'm waiting until the last shoe falls in this blog, before I vote on Saturday. But I will go vote, regardless. No matter how hard I have to hold my nose, while I pick the least bad choice.

No matter what.. everyone is in league with someone else. We only hope that Castro is not elected. Between his lies and betrayals, the city deserves soo much more. His inability to be honest and fair, is show in his fb page. if he doesn't agree with you or you go against what he trying to brainwash you with, he blocks you and tries to call you.. he's a hypocrite.. between him and his sister.. they have use and throw away everyone the come in contact with. you should ask why he's afraid of the question "can you show me where all the money you raises goes too!?" because they "Him and Linda" keep it for themselves.

Please don't be disheartened by the attacks from Duardo Martinez. He's the most insecure of the bloggers and least credible. He writes fake stories with fake comments.
Mr. Ahumada was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. Ironically, a key player in the indictment is in jail. Go figure.
