COME ON IN UNDER THE TRUCK! IT'S DUCKY IN HERE!

Ed.'s Note: One of our four readers (we gained one) sent us this photo of some resaca ducks taking in the shade under a pickup truck parked at the McDonald's Restaurant along the frontage road near the Ruben Torres (FM 802) intersection. The owners of the truck were apparently having their morning coffee at Micky D's and the ducks that live in the resaca next door took the opportunity to get a bit of shade under the truck. We hope the birds left before the motorists sped off and squashed one of them. Those of us who have passed through that are know that a large flock of ducks and other water fowl congregate in that area. Hopefully the guy who owns the truck fixes the dangling wire visible here.)
