WHAT IS THAT IN THE RESACA? Y LOCKE NOESS!

(Ed's. Note: Once in a while we get sent photos of the local scene and we like to let our three readers have  a glimpse of what's outside the office. In this case, we were told that the photo above had mystified some people who imagined it to be some sort of water creature a la Loch Ness Monster. If you look closely at the wormy-looking shape in the middle of the photo, it appears to be going under. Well, it turned out to be nothing more than one of those tubes that are being used by the crews cleaning the Town Resaca by the old cemtery. Nice try, though. We have our doubts that the resaca-cleaning will result in cleaner bodies of water given the fact that runoff from city streets and debris is going into them continuously. At best, the larger pieces of garbage might be picked up. Meanwhile, it's not what is out there, pero Loke Noess.).
