This lady is one of the most respected, professional, knowledgeable, hard working, and sincere members of our community. Thank God some good people are coming out of the woodwork. Bea grew up in Southmost, our biggest neighborhood and home to half of Brownsville's population. It is no doubt our most neglected as well, with little to no county or city services. While CC builds useless toll roads to nowhere, Southmost can't even get a decent North/South main street, so it's many workers can get to their jobs at the Port of Brownsville on time.
It is also home to Brownsville's best restaurants. Go there an try the 50 cent tacos at LA VAQUITA, right across Southmost Street from McDonald's. STRIPS gasoline station tacos can't hold a candle to them.
This lady is running for the port of Brownsville seat to make sure the LNG industry ruins our beautiful RGV but what do you expect from the wife of a corrupt ex county commissioner. Wouldn't she have a conflict of interest being an employee of the port?
... and also the wife to Lucino, who for many years has been operating Illegal 8-liners in which the youngest daughter was involved in a case that the DA's office closed and has a convicted Felon son working for Sylvia Garza Perez. Juanito, write the truth.
This is about the candidate. Not anyone else. You need to meet her. Stop with the personal family attacks. That's why decent people don't want to run for office down here.
She will be the next Cameron County commissioner. She's a winner, and Southmost where she grew up knows her better than you, and we want her on our side.
