DESPITE CANON VIOLATIONS, SANCHEZES' SHOW GOES ON

TEXAS CODE OF JUDICIAL CONDUCT
Canon 5: Refraining from Inappropriate Political Activity
(1) A judge or judicial candidate shall not:
(2) A judge or judicial candidate shall not authorize the public use of his or her name endorsing another candidate for any public office, except that either may indicate support for a political party. A judge or judicial candidate may attend political events and express his or her views on political matters in accord with this Canon and Canon 3B(10)

(Ed.'s Note: We're not attorneys. Far from it, it's difficult for some of us to just to stay within the law. But th another photo sent in to El Rrun-rrun by one of our six (we're growing) readers in northern Cameron County seems to indicate that 444th District Judge David Sanchez (seated at left working on his brother's campaign mailer) is actively endorsing his brother Pct. 4 commissioner Dan Sanchez as he seeks the Democratic Party nomination for county judge. Da Judge was also present when Dan made his unexpected announcement Nov. 10 at the steps of the Cameron County Judicial wing. So far, no one arund these here parts seems to mind  judge's involvement in this partisan political race. Is Cameron County different, or what?)

I WILL SIGN THE COMPLAINT AS CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTY BUT...WHO WILL HAVE THE BALLS TO FOLLOW THROUGHT WITH MY COMPLAINT! THAT'S THE QUESTION?

PUES SEND THE COMPLAINTS ANONYMOUSLY. HE IS SUPPOSED TO SERVE US, THE COUNTY AND STATE and follow the rules. LET THE STATE COMMISSION LOOK INTO IT. LET THEM DO THERE JOB. INCLUDE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM FACEBOOK THAT SHOW THE NAMES TOGETHER AND THE PHOTOS OF THE TWO SANCHEZ BROTHERS TOGETHER WITH CAMPAIGN SHIRTS ON AND IN PARADES CAMPAIGNING. IF SANCHEZ VIOLATED THE RULES, LET THEM INVESTIGATE IT. IF SANCHEZ DOES NOT THINK THERE IS ANYTHING HE DID WRONG, HE WILL KEEP THE PHOTOS UP ON FACEBOOK. Send your complaint to thIS address: State Commission on Judicial Conduct, PO Box 12265, Austin TX 78711. You can print out whatever Montoya has printed that states the rules with the photos that Sanchez violates and put the court number FOR Sanchez.
