(Ed.'s Note: Have you ever seen City Attorney Mark Sossi zooming around town in his nifty little BMW convertible? Sossi has a preferred parking lot privileges and he sports the tag on his mirror and parks in a reserves spot near City Hall (see bottom graphic). It was there where one of our four (we're growing up from three) readers saw Da Ride and noticed that the license tags and inspection stickers were expired. And not just yesterday expired, but also the inspection sticker dated back to May of 2014, about a year and a half ago. The license tag sticker also notes that it expired this January, just a month shy of a year. Now, we know that Sossi gets special consideration from the city, but does this include ignoring the laws of the State of Texas? At $10,000 a month for playing lawyer at the commission meetings plus $5,000 per month that for sitting in with the Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, he clears roughly $180,000 for his mighty labors. It's not like he can't afford inspections and license tags. After all, he is the legal eagle in the city. Unless, of course, that the law doesn't apply to people of his stature.

Interesting piece about your city attorney scofflaw...let me point out, however, that that vehicle is not an MGB. It's also not an MGA. It's not even an MG. It's a BMW.
I LIKE IT WHEN SCOFFLAWS ARE UNCOVERED AND EXPOSED, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE PUBLIC OFFICIALS WHO NEED TO BE EXPOSED WHENEVER THEY BREAK THE LAW.

Seriously, misquoting the "make or model" of a vehicle does invalidate or discredit a blog post/article. The gist or main theme of the post was the SCOFFLAW SOSSI, not the vehicle.
