Tax breaks are necessary when we have to recruit business to come to town. Business that will create a lot of good paying jobs for the county. LNG does not need any tax breaks. They have all the money in the world. They are not creating any jobs for you. And there are a bunch of LNG companies fighting to be here Go read what the Port of Brownsville has about competing LNG companies fighting to lease property at the Port. You give tax breaks when it is necessary to bring that business to town and when they are bringing a lot of jobs to help the county. Ask the current County Judge Pete Sepulveda he will tell you.
