He was found guilty by a jury and his license removed !! How and why would he be placed back !! That would be a step backwards
This is a party issue, the yokel bum fucks of County Commission opinions don't matter. The Texas Supreme Court will tell Remi what to do. You dumbasses can go back to stealing and supporting Dan Sanchez's campaign.
The Commissioner's Court doesn't have a say in this matter. All they do is discuss the fact the attorney is representing the Elections Administrator.
Thank goodness for that since some of them would manage to mess that up too.
This person should be on the ballot I really hope he is on run off what is fair is fair.
The item is pro-forma as a County employee is legally a party to a case in his official capacity. Don't make it sound like Cameron County has a dog in the fight.

I learned a lot about these two people in the last several days. The man I supported, Mr Chambers, was taking pot shots at her for days (like saying as a fact that she is part of a criminal enterprise with people I now know she can't stand like Gilbert Hinojosa since he says all the time Gilbert is in charge of his persecution for something he said years ago and that Gilbert is obsessed with him and is paying Robert Rodriguez and Victor Cortez to run) before she responded to something clearing it up.
When there was a poll she said she wants to know what people think but not how to vote.
She has kept his supporters on there who have posted some uncalled for things with no substance and she was only polite .
John posted her home address and divorce info from years ago and made false statements about her husband's business and when he was told they were false with proof he deleted their posts contradicting him. I saw the posts too.
They are both public figures but at some point it's not unreasonable for one to respond to libelous statements and character assassination.
He claims "let none in fear" but he's been hounding this woman and even tried to use scare tactics to bully her into doing what he wants. He told me about it and was proud thinking he shook her up. And he's lied about things to me and others for months and I feel cheated and betrayed by somebody a lot of us put trust in.
Even her ex husband commented expressing support for her on the post he made.
I just know I've been lied to by this man I volunteered for and supported. I even gave him advice. John told me last year Gilbert Hinojosa is behind his legal problems and now he is saying those same people are conspiring with Morgan Graham. Morgan Graham has been critical of Hinojosa I found and severely within the past months. It's obvious they aren't even acquaintances. She makes a lot of statements criticizing the same people he says she is working with. I think now his entire thing is a lie that he might believe.
He said the info was posted her divorce papers in error but didn't even say he made the error but blame it on the electronics. And he reposted them elsewhere and sent them to people.
It takes a strong man to own their mistakes. I'm going to try to be one and own mine for believing what he said and even making negative comments about her on this and other blogs like brownsvillevoice. I was very wrong.
I just thought somebody should speak up and I have some things to make up to that lady for. I want a better community and I put false hope in somebody selling snake oil.

CONVICTED OR NOT...HE STILL HAS HIS APPEALS PENDING FINAL DISPOSITION OF THE CHARGES BY THE HIGHER COURTS. THIS COULD DRAG ON FOR SEVERAL YEARS...FROM THE 13TH COA TO THE TEXAS COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS.
HIS LICENSE AS A PEACE OFFICER MAY HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED (NOT REVOKED)BUT HE STILL HAS AN ACTIVE PEACE OFFICER'S LICENSE. IN THIS CASE SUSPENSION PENDING THE FINAL OUTCOME OF HIS CASE THROUGH THE APPEALS PROCESS.
EVERYTHING SO FAR THAT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED HERE AND OR ELSE WHERE ON THE ELECTION LAWS AND BALLOT ISSUES...I THINK CHAMBERS SHOULD BE PLACED BACK ON THE BALLOT AGAIN MERELY BECAUSE HE FALLS WITHIN ALL STATUTES, OPTIONS AND LAWS. THESE PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN THEIR OFFICAL CAPACITIES WHO REMOVED CHAMBERS HAD A 'MINISTERIAL DUTY' WITHOUT DESCREATION TO FOLLOW THE LAW. THAT'S IT!!!! IT LAW.
I FORGOT...THIS IS CAMERON COUNTY AND ITS OFFICIALS JUST MAKE UP THEIR OWN LAWS AND RULES AND SIDE STEP THE EXISTING STATE STATUES AND LAWS. THESE PEOPLE WHO "WE" ELECTED EVERY TIME ARE 'POS'!!! THIS INCLUDES THE SOS OFFICE WHERE A FORMER COUNTY OFFICAL IS HEADING THAT DEPARTMENT IN AUSTIN.
