Ignorance is ignoring all the unforgivable disregard for our valuable capital and human resources when throwing away BOTH TSC and UTB. Let's not ignore the incompetence of the Tea Party board members: Trey, Adela, Rene and Kiko. So much damage done to so many.

Disregard of valuable capital and human resources? Throwing away both TSC and UTB? What are you talking about? They are both still standing and operating. If the two institutions had not separated, TSC's overpriced tuition would have never decreased by 35% and TSC would be nonexistent because no one would have been able to afford to go there. How about allowing TSC assets to be "GIVEN" to the UT System while the taxpayers were to be left paying off the bond debt? Allowing that to happen would have been a travesty and incompetence on the part of the TSC board members. They were elected to uphold the interests of the community by preserving TSC, not by engaging and participating in some ill contrived conspiracy to cheat our community. Until you give specific examples, all of your accusations have no merit. We should be grateful to Kiko Rendon, Adela Garza, Trey Mendez, and Rene Torres. They took a lot of heat for the decision and they still are. The community will be forever in their debt and history will reflect that what they did was the right thing to do.
