FIRE FORCES EVACUATION OF WALMART ON BOCA CHICA
(Ed.'s Note: Smoke billowed out of the front and back doors of Walmart Store on Boca Chica after a fire inside forced the evacuation of customers and store workers there at about 5:45 p.m. today. The cause of the fire has not been determined and employees said that no one had been hurt in the incident. One worker quipped half seriously that it might have started in the bakery-tortilla factory section. "Se quemaron las tortillas," she said.)

Let it burn!!! Maybe it will bring some business to the smaller businesses around the area. Say No To Wal-Mart!
ON A MORE IMPORTANT ISSUE:
On Tuesday, Trump revealed his plan to extort $5 billion to $10 billion from our ally to the south: use an anti-terrorism provision in the Patriot Act to freeze all money transfers from the United States to Mexico, until the ransom is paid. In other words, the Trump administration would intercept all the money that Mexican immigrants send home to their dependent family members and wait for the suffering of women and children to force Mexico’s hand.
“On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States,” Trump writes in a memo sent to the Washington Post. “It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico.”
According to the Post, $25 billion was sent home by Mexicans living abroad in 2015 — but that accounts for Mexicans all across the globe, not just in the United States. Trump also proposes raising fees on visas and/or threatening to cancel them en masse for Mexican visitors.
Beyond the plan’s cruelty and diplomatic recklessness, it confirms fears that Donald Trump’s interpretation of executive authority would be expansive. Trump’s plan against Mexico's resistance to paying for a border wall requires reinterpreting key clauses of the “know your customer” provision of the Patriot Act. To enact such changes immediately — Trump vows to begin extorting Mexico the second he enters the Oval Office — the Donald would need to declare illegal immigration an “emergency” that poses an immediate threat to health and public safety. But canceling visas or limiting wire transfers doesn’t directly limit immigration. Thus, Trump’s plan would invite legal challenge. If it’s upheld, the proposal would spur yet another drastic expansion to executive authority.
Pete Avila would have put that fire out in no time. He was a great fireman....when the fire truck was summoned, and the sirens rang....the people in Brownsville would say..." ahi va Pete Avila...con el chile de fuera!" Those were the good ole days, when people would feel safe because of Pete Avila's tenacious ability to serve and protect the people of this God forsaken city. Avila is the consummate family man and friend....but he is a man...a Hispanic man. That being said, there were ladies heartbroken because he was married....querian el chile de Pete Avila....que dilemma pues! There should be a statue of Pete Avila in every park in Brownsville...to honor a great man...a man that can handle a bat....yes, Pete le gusta el bate....the way he handles a bat would make a porn star envious......se mueren de envidia les digo!! enemies of Pete can not understand where all his support comes from....look around I say....MIREN CON UNA CHINGADA! You can find them in every corner, every restaurant, every backyard...there is where Pete gets his support...from all the people he has protected against harmeful flames.....there should be a corridor of Pete Avila to go with those statues also....EL CORRIDO DE PETE AVILA....EL BOMBERO CUMBIAMBERO....CULERO....ARRIBA PETE AVILA!!!!!
Probably started by a McDonald's grease fire. That McDonalds probably has some of the ugliest people you will ever see in your life. No bullshit.
