(Ed.'s Note: Not only has former Texas Southmost College trustee and now candidate for Brownsville Navigation District commissioner Ed Rivera skirted the residency rules, but now he or his supporters think that they can take over public structures to place their campaign signs. This one is placed over an elevated walkway over US 77-83. Candidates and their supporters are well aware that placing sings on light poles, the public right-of-way or other public structures is not only against the law, but unethical as well and is an unfair advantage against those candidates who heed the law. Today is election day and if you think this show of arrogance and abuse of public trust is not a good example, cast your vote for him and his sidekick Raul Villanueva in that election. They are running as a team for the Port of Brownsville board against Ralph Cowen and Tito Lopez. Thanks to one of our seven readers for the photo.)

Another sign that political candidates will do anything...even break the law...to get elected. Unfortunately there are so many signs out there that is difficult to judge the legal from the illegal; the ethical from the unethical.
So far doesn't look like a very good evening for OP 10.33! "A fool and his money are soon parted." HA! HA! HA!
I wonder if Roger Lee still wants us "to not get in the way and let them do their job." Looks like they didn't do it very well. HA! HA! HA! HA!
