I am greatly surprised that Elia Cornejo Lopez doesn't require they list her a "Judge". Her ego and need to be called "Judge" is evident. She must suspect that most of the voters are too ignorant to know who she is or to ignorant to learn about the candidates. She should resign as judge, its obviously not a full time job for her.
Since this is a presidential election year, with a very heated race, we can expect a great turnout this year...for that and the BISD election. It means there will be a lot of people who will go to the polls without any idea who these people are. A lot of people who have no interest in BISD (except how much they are taxed)will neutralize the teachers "groupies".
I want to address the first few post here that are directed towards Rigo Bocanegra.
I wanted to congratulate Fire Chief Carlos Elizondo for his EXPUNGEMENT on all his CRIMINAL activities.
I have been to many rallies and have listened to what people are stating. It is true that Rigo supported Carlos when he was Union President and then when he ran for School Board, which I will add is the same position Rigo was going to run for but Carlos talked him out of it. Then Rigo endorsed him whole heartedly. But shit happens to good people and they unfortunately help bad people and when they see the truth, often too late, they are the ones who get crapped and oppressed by Carlos. Carlos has been calling all kinds of contacts to not support Rigo, he has even threatened and tyrannized his firemen, their relatives and even those on the hire list if they support Rigo that they will pay the consequences. All you have to do is listen to all the people involved and informative blogs like these and spending time at the rallies to understand what is really going on.
