Bilingual? What the speed limit is in spanish or in french or Italian? why do we need two languages? That's horse shit! That's reverse discrimination. I was born and grew up in America, I don't need to know two languages.
This could be an advertisement for an ad for BISD Trustees. Don't need education or experience to manage a half billion dollar budget. Just a normal day in Brownsville.....corruption uber alles.

*America IS A CONTINENT is which more than 22 countries speak and DO INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS with The United States of America which is THE COUNTRY. The United States of America has NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE. Go to the Canada-U.S. border and depending on the area, they WILL ask you to be bilingual and speak FRENCH and ENGLISH. We live in a border where there are more than 22 Spanish speaking countries, Texas has more than 30% of its trade with Mexico. If you don't want to learn a second language, move to the middle of the country or to hillbilly lands. Major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Houston, Austin, Miami require bilingual people in International Business jobs and yes, driving a truck with commercial loads IS international business.
Its about driving skills and experience....skills not a part of the education process. Why be so upset for a realistic advertisement, they want drives who can drive....and degrees and diplomas don't teach those skills.
This is more of the Pat Hobbs BULLSHIT scam school crap that he loves to promote. If you are really interested, ask him about the FRAUDULENT certificates that his good friends one of the scam schools were handing out to so-called 'troubled youth' ... until he got caught!! Then he got caught trying to cover his trackes and the magnitude of the problem! LIAR, LIAR, pants of FIRE. HOBBS has to GO !

If the job required education folks, almost nobody in Brownsville would qualify.
