McHale Report published an article by The Brownsville Avenger "/DP-M Challenges Chirinos!!!"
/DP-M issued a challenge to Chirino to respond to a series of questions on his candidacy for the office of Trustee. Inquiring mind can see the candidate answering the questions like this.
1.) Please assess your time as Trustee for us.
My assessment of my time as Trustee has been as one of the best time of my life, looking forward for many more years as BISD Trustee. Thank you for asking.
2.) Why do you want another term?
I want to make BISD great again and again.
3.) In your opinion, what is working for BISD these days?
Everything is working in BISD. We are the best school district in Brownsville. If you do not believe me, just ask Jerry McHale, he works for us.
4.) Problems you have identified?
None, there are no problems. We are great.
5.) What is the last book you read?
"Chicano Manual on How to Handle the Gringos" by Jose Angel Gutierrez. Excellent reading and highly recommended by McHale Report, "The local newspaper of the Third World Capital of the World."
6.) What educator do you admire?
That is an easy question. I admire Dr. Jerry McHale. McHale is more Mexican than any Mexican in Brownsville. If Trump wins the election, McHale will be deported to Mexico.
7.) Is there a particular school district in Texas you see as one BISD should emulate?
None, we are the best school district in Texas. With teachers like Jerry McHale, how can we not be the best school district in Texas.

Laura Reyes will win but Caty deserves it. Nobody fights tooth and nail like Catalina Presas for kids rights but everyone believes Laura will do better. As usual voters will refret it.

Again, how can anyone vote for a little girl who was working at Hooters and got offered a job by Villalobos, (because he was always there) she went to the DA's office as a secretary and "worked her way up to be David Gonzales's assistant, then go work as Judge Gonzales's Court Administrator, who by the way, always screws up the docket, then start going out with attorneys, one of which was married, so yes she had an affair(that would be, attorney Juan Mendiola) and then get assaulted at a kick off party for Judge Gonzales at Noe Garza's ranch by Juan Mendiola's wife Ursula, in front of a lot of DA's and collegues from the Court, how can anyone vote for her and how can anyone claim she's a "good example" yes, she has her Masters, good for her, but really, does anyone not realize she's a snake??!! I'd rather deal with a known snake, Caty or the "Austin guy" as everyone says about Erasmo, then deal with this little princess.
Like other laws...there is no enforcement. A big issue was made about panhandlers on the streets and new ordinances were passed; no enforcement, must be demeaning for our cops to have to give those tickets. We have little or no enforcement for seat belt laws, kids riding in the back of trucks, even traffic laws (running red lights, running stop signs, turning right on red despite signs saying no turn on red). So, if safety issues aren't enforced, who the shit is going to measure a sign and give a ticket?

I am not Caty and I am voting for her. She has complete and thorough knowledge about what is going on in BISD and that is the reason some do not want her there. She urges those who have a conflict of interest to excuse themselves and they hate her for that. She is doing her job as a board member and I will urge everyone to vote for her. She tells it like it is!!!!
As for Laura Perez Reyes, who is financing her campaign? Is it one of those frequent visitors from the now defunct Hooters? Maybe she can open it up again and hire some of the BISD students. Do we really bother to check up on the personal background of our candidates and the "positive image" they are suppose to bring to our students?>>>>

She didn't even go to any of the debates, she's like Estela Chavez, the minute you hear her speak, you loose any and all interest in what she has to say. She never attended the debates, and the only one she did attend, she had a Judge texting her what to reply until the moderators stated the use of cell phones was not going to be accepted anymore and soon after the judge left, Laura didn't have anyone to text her the responses and she started stuttering and froze! Sad that she can't even think for herself but wants to be in a position where she needs to think for herself. My vote goes to Castro.
