My family and I like Judge Neece, but his apparent association with Sylvia, Cesar de Leon, Raymond Hinojosa, Erasmo Castro and William Garza has turned us off. We will be voting for John Villarreal, atleast we already know he will not be worse than those supporting the former judge. The judge should have statyed neutral and could have won easily without selling himsel.

Ill be voting for any of the commissioners from Austin or Dallas - they seem to know what they're doing. Im pretty sure they can handle a district here as a side job.

With all my respects, in regards to the pachanga yesterday Saturday from 1 - 5 pm, let me say something, out of all the people that say that support Ben Neece i only saw about 20 people that bought tickets, the food was very good, the tickets yes they were very expensive $20 a piece, the person who was directing the show was focused on jokes and much bad language, not taking in consideration of the women around in that event, honestly, the event was some what dull, they should have used that time to speak about future plans for our city, interacting with the public, taking notes of new ideas from the public or suggestions, should have taken music to animate the public, in my personal opinion from past experiences from political family in Matamoros, when you run for candidate, you out of your pocket make the spending to get positive results from the public, you dont expect for the public to pay for your expenses, Ben is a good man and i respect him very much, but i just hope that in his future events, he gets people that will organize things much better for him, bring ticket prices down to get better results from public, get people to take control of the situation in a very proffessional manner for best results.
