Keep Brownsville Beautiful Mission Statement: "To encourage each person to take responsibility for the environmental health of our community. We focus our greatest efforts in merging citizens, businesses, and communities to find solutions and advance out root issues such as Graffiti Abatement, Beautification, Litter Prevention, and Waste Minimization."

From one of our seven readers: "I live near the Veterans Park on Central and Wild Rose. I pass it everyday on my commute to school. This eyesore has been the result of negligence on the part of KBB."

This is a Japanese dirt garden. I first learned about them when I was studying over there. Usually there's a rake close by and you rake the dirt out to different patterns. It's supposed to be relaxing.

Why don't you "study "on taking care of your kids, Diego ? You are such a dumb-ass and continuously prove it.

They are probably going to decorate it with bike racks. This would be a great project for the Pace students who are so involved with the community. Let the kids do it for free cause Blue Jean Mayor will not allow for money to be spent on this.

McAllen City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E., as City Administrator (City Manager) of the Year.
Will Brownsville ever attract quality people to City Government?
