The U.S. team will have had just two days off following Thursday night's 2-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago at Commerce City, Colorado. With that win, the USA was lifted into the top half of the standings and one of the three qualifying slots. But the United States have never beaten Mexico in a World Cup qualifying match at the Azteca. They'll need to execute a near-perfect game plan to get the job done.
Tonight's game comes midway through the final round of the North and Central American and Caribbean region.
"I cheer for Mexico when they play some other team, and I cheer for the USA when they play against others than Mexico," said the father in the photos. "So I decided that when they play each other we would cheer for both. We end up winning whichever way it turns out."
"Unless they tie," said his son.
The dad said he hit upon the idea when he realized that he had a team jersey of both teams and went to a local tailor near the federal building in Brownsville with the idea of combining both. He bought extra team patches through Ebay and the tailor then combined the jerseys and sewed the extra patch on both combined jerseys.
"I get questions from fans on both sides on who I'm rooting for," said the father. "I tell them for both. The guy who sewed them together did a great job. They're not perfect, but can hardly tell they're a combination of two different jerseys from the teams. "

In the words of Homer Simpson: "USA!< USA!, USA"
The USA cause they sign my welfare checks and give me my food stamps. The grillis on and my steaks are courtesy of YOU the tax payers. Puro disability aqui.
USA, of course, unless que eres mojado. If you love Mexico so much,
why the hell are doing sponging of the USA. Mexico, recoge tu gente.
Built that wall !!!!
Will it make any difference in our lives??? NO. Why so much interest in this event and little or no public interest in how this city wastes tax dollars. Won't watch the game, done really care.
In Pinche Empate, 1-1, pero que GOLASO de Bradley! Buen partido, juanito.
