Tamaulipas State Auditors have detected numerous properties under the name of former Matamoros
Mayor Leticia Norma Leticia Salazar Vázquez apparently acquired in 2015 and 2016 in San Antoniovalued at more than $1 million.The properties, according to reports, were acquired by Salazar during the time she was mayor of Matamoros.
And other reports indicate that she had acquired at least two other properties there when she was a federal representative (diputada) for the region.
On of those properties is located at 4203 Parkway Dr. and the other at Monte Blvd., jointly valued at more than $300,000. (The photo on the right is of 4203 Parkway Dr. Did someone gyp her out of good money for that one?)One of the properties that was bought by Salazar in 2014 when she was mayor of Matamoros are located at 846 Lee Hall, in San Antonio, valued at $162,000.
Earlier that year she had purchased a home at 1326 Alametos valued at 100,000.According to TMP Noticias, the auditors found two other properties under her name located at 818 Gillespie Street (198,000) and another at 1518 Hermine Bulevard ($171,000).

All the properties are listed under Norma Leticia Salazar.
(The question now becomes, did someone play Lety for a fool and purchase these properties for her and tricked her into thinking the homes were mansions?)

"A" buys a house for $100,000.00. "B" then buys the house from "A" for $300,000. "B" then has $200,000 in clean laundered money, pays capital gains tax and sleeps easy. That is the way it works!
This is a classic case of "money laundering". The white-washing of dirty money. I bet she paid cash for the properties.
