Eddie Lucio Jr. Every time he is up for reelection we hear the same drivel from him claiming how he has delivered for his constituents despite the polarizing atmosphere up in bad old Austin. Well, his vote has often gone to state Republicans and we take exception to his latest mail out that states: "By working together we were successful in appropriating over $55 million to out University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and were equally as effective in passing critical legislation to assist South Texas.")Numbers don't lie Eddie and Rene. Out of the five higher education institutions, Texas Southmost College ranked dead last. That sounds like something else than success. What happened, men?)

Eddie Lucio, Jr. cares only about himself. In other words, he is a selfish prick who doesn't give a damn about his constituents who don't pay him money.
We, here in Brownsville can't be more happier, more proud, more joyed, more ecstatic that the University of Texas at Brownsville was reduced to a pile of turd by Oliveira and Lucio.
We are overjoyed that Edinburg is reaping the benefits of a University with limitless PUF funds being pumped into their community.
I wish we could clone these to representatives and give each City in Texas a pair. Imagine what that could do to our wonderful State of Texas.

We are just an outpost for what used to be UTPA. UTB's President Garcia abandoned us and the sharks in Edinburg and McAllen seized control. Less classes, less students, less faculty. Is UTRGV losing more and more undergraduate students?
Correct me if I am wrong, but UTRGV is combination of the Brownsville and the Edinburg campuses so the allocation of funds is likely to be split with a bit more to Edinburg and still fair amount to Brownsville.
It's a shame TSC isn't given a decent amount but it's poetic that TSC is eating UTRGV's lunch.
Eddie and Rene are for sale to the highest bidder in Austin. They regularly give their all to those who pay their bills and pass trinkets out to the constituents of their districts. It is time for some new blood...and I don't mean Eddie "The Turd".
